May 26: Wine, Castles, and Further up the Coast

Starting the day a little late we first stopped by the Castoro winery. I took wine tasting in college, but this was my first winery. It was quite nice and the lady who helped us was very nice.

   

Next we went to the Hearst Castle. Jen and I just visited here, so it was more for Brian and Anna. They explored the place while we had a picnic and took a nap.

Just up the road from there we saw a huge pile of Elephant Seals bathing in the sun on the beach. They were pretty entertaining to watch.



We then we rushed up to Monterey to catch a sunset off the bay at the very last moment. We ate at a great bbq place and we fully indulged in the bbq goodness.
